Edwards Ferry Boat Ramp, on the Roanoke River  is located In the Eastern part of Halifax county just a few miles north of Scotland Neck at 89 Hwy 258.  This ramp gets the most use during the Rockfish spring spawning run (March, April May) and some use during  Shad season (late Feb , March, early April). The rest of year it is mainly used for catfishing and some panfishing.
